Queen +Adam Lambert Final Set List - Toronto

Anita

Thank you Adam and Queen for these magical shows in North America.Since I've seen Adam performing in 2009 I secretly hoped that one day ( soon) a collaboration will start and would be a chance to see Queen +Adam Lambert live.I listen to the old records with Freddie,I listen to the new vibe with Adam and i love them both . I really hate when people keep compare. Why cannot they just enjoy great music of Queen performed by such talented performers .I've missed the concert in Budapest in '86 when I was a teenager ( at that time the information would penetrate with difficulty in my closed country..just 4 hours of driving from Budapest,so by the time I've heard about it there was no time to get a passport nor to find a way to get a ticket). 2014..... I saw the concert in Dallas and yes, Queen and Adam rocked the arena.I loved it,loved it.

I attended the show in Toronto on July 13, 2014. Have loved Queen since I was a teen ager and only dreamed about the opportunity to see them live.I travelled from Newfoundland to see my dream come true!!!!
I had no expectation of anyone "filling Freddie's shoes" and no one did . BUT Adam Lambert was magnificent and he was "ADAM"... ridiculously talented and true to himself! I rocked out like a teenager - although I am not anymore :-)
Thank you Brian May and Roger Taylor for keeping QUEEN alive...Thank you for keeping the spirit of Freddie present in the show, and thank you for a MAGNIFICENT show.

Leanne

I was in toronto for the show...we drove from Ohio to see the show.... Freddie and Queen were my everything from the time I was a little girl.... I didn't know what to expect, I knew no one could fill Freddie's shoes for me....but AL was incredible ! He didn't take Freddie's place.. he stood on stage as his own person and he was magnificent. I make a living as a musician and sometimes the business of it all can be horrible...but that night..Queen & AL made me fall in love with rock n roll all over again... So to Queen thank you for a lifetime of always being there when I needed you...and to Adam..you have a forever fan..you are incredible... God Bless You All...Thank you for the inspiration...

Was at the last Toronto show and it was amazing! While I am a diehard Queen fan, I never thought anyone could ever be with Queen again and was I ever wrong. Freddie cannot be replaced and AL did not try to. Hope they come back this way again sometime soon.

Queen is the only group that I have collected every possible CD & DVD and actually enjoy listening to and/or watching them over and over again. Each time I discover something new to love and appreciate in the lyrics or the sound. Wayne, please do not put down people because they like a certain song more than you do. I like all the songs you suggested, plus many more, but the reality is no group can please everyone when touring--it's impossible. I was very disappointed they didn't play certain songs, but I understand the complicated logistics of trying to put together a great show, and I am not going to keep bitching about my disappointments over and over again. QUEEN ROCKS!!!!

Wayne

Thats the dilemma. I know their music all too well. That's why it hurts to know they'll never really play the good stuff. But keep on playing the mediocre stuff that you like. I can't believe they cut Love Kills & play dull solo's instead. They'll never play You & I, She Makes Me, Sail Away Sweet Sister, Long Away or their greatest work IT'S LATE.
It just sad to hear a Bass Solo in the place of great music. Or extended versions of Tie Your Mother Down.
What did Freddie Say? Just don't make it boring.
IT'S ALL TOO LATE

Dianemezzo

Wayne, get a grip! It was bad enough you kept harping about the same things over and over on the "Happy Birthday Roger" comments, which was totally inappropriate for that section--please don't keep doing it in other comments sections. Read what Melaina had to say to you under "Happy Birthday Roger" comments and SHUT UP ALREADY!
Most Queen fans would totally disagree with you, including me, who has loved Queen for 40 years now. If you really knew ALL their music you would probably have enjoyed the show more.

Brian and Roger, thanks again for your North American tour. It was outstanding! World, get ready for great performances as the tour continues. QUEEN ROCKS!!!!

Wayne

CUT THE BASS SOLO- IT'S INSULTING
CUT THE ADAM SING A LONG - ITS DULL
SHORTEN THE DRUM SOLO-ROGER LOOKS BEAT!!
SHORTEN THE GUITAR SOLO
EVEN BRIAN LOOKS BORED
WE WANT TO HEAR:YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND
OR EVEN A VERSE OF SAIK AWAY SWEET SISTER
OR LONG AWAY

Hello:

I attended the concert in Toronto on July 29th, 2014.
My sisters and I have been fans since the beginning, in 1974. It warmed my heart to see that a new generation also appreciates the passion and joy you bring to your music. It struck me how much you enjoy performing, and how that joy electrifies your audience. Your energy seems boundless. Adam Lambert is an asset to the group. A great tribute to Freddie Mercury. You are not only a band, you are a "family".

Robi

Please come again in Budapest! It would be great as a 1986 concert :)

Leandro Ulivi

Please concerts in Sao Paulo - Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are next to us! It would be an honor! It would be a huge dream come true! Please come!!

Brian May, I'm your fan too. My whole life and hear QUEEN BRIAN MAY

I love you Bri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stephanie

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE COME TO SWITZERLAND! I MISS YOU! BASEL IS A JOURNEY BUT ALWAYS VALUE. I WAS ALREADY AT THE CONCERT IN BASEL THAN YOURS WITH PAUL ROGERS MADE CONCERTS. WITH ADAM LAMBERT IS IT SAFE TOO CRAZY. ALSO PACKED YOUR CASE AND COMES ONCE AGAIN TO SWITZERLAND! I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU AND WOULD BE EXTREMELY PLEASED AS I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN 35 YEARS A VERY BIG FAN OF YOU BIN! BEST WISHES AND A THOUSAND KISSES

Wayne

Oh by the way, the MADE IN HEAVEN album is terrible!

Wayne

Melaina, GROW UP. I've met Brian several times in my life and have no need to kiss his ass like you seem to. Obviously I LOVE Queen! BUT I love them enough to be HONEST. I didn't say cut the guitar solo Dum Dum, I said shorten it. And as far as the bass solo, give me a break. It's an insult. I'd rather hear Spike play some piano.
But let's just be direct here, we all would rather hear a Queen song instead!! Like LONG AWAY!!
Now deary, to quote a great man" KISS MY ASS, GOODBYE"

Melaina

Dear Wayne, when you see how prophetic are lyrics and video of Queen, especially "Prophet song", "Made in heaven", "Innuendo", "Radio GA GA", "Heaven for everyone", "I'm going slightly mad"or "Flash" then you realize why GUITAR SOLO and DRUM SOLO are so important in every gig. GUITAR SOLO is a part of "Brighton rock". Brighton is a town with astronomic observatory. There is some reason, why B. May become an astrophysicist instead of physicist. See deeper, what really is showing during concerts of Queen and what this music is talking about. I think this is the most important part of their concerts, since the Rainbow '74 till the end of time ("there is no time for us", "it's too late", "only seven days","written in the stars"). "But still I fear and still dare not
Laugh at the Madman".

Wayne

STOP THE BASS SOLO NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT
SHORTEN THE DRUM SOLO BONZO
CUT THE ADAM SING A LONG
FOR GODS SAKE SHORTEN THE GUITAR SOLO, EVEN BRIAN LOOKS BORED

DRAGON ATTACK? REALLY?

WHY CUT DON'T STOP ME NOW?

WHAT ABOUT JOHNS BEST SONG: YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND.
WE WANT A VERSE OF SAIL AWAY SWEET SISTER

Karen

I was at the Empire Pool Wembley in 1977 as a 19 year old and that still rates as my all time number 1 concert. Last night's show in Toronto was fantastic...lighting, staging, Adam and the support band as not to mention the masters Brian and Roger. I sobbed during "Love of my life" and "Days of our lives" as the nostalgic footage reminded me how much I miss Freddie even after all this time. Thanks for a magical evening.

Heather

Last night was the best concert ever. I went with my daughter and we loved every minute. Adam has always been a great entertainer - we have loved him since American Idol - and I'm glad that he decided to tour with your awesome band.! I am glad that I was there to see it.
Thanks a million for coming to Toronto!

Hanqian Yan

Wow last night was amazing! Fantastic songs and voice! Oh my god I am a fan of you now! and the same to Adam!

Andrew

What a great show in Toronto Last night July 28th, 2014. I haven't missed a Queen gig in TO since 1977. I was at the show with my son and 4 other friends. I was really impressed withe the lighting and staging, so amazing. The whole show was what I expected from a Queen night of entertainment. And the music as always the best. And as we all thought, Adam did an amazing job. Please let him know that form one of Queens biggest fans in Toronto he did not disappoint. But what made it an even more special night was sharing it with my 15 year old son Gareth. This was his first big concert and he loved it. Please keep on rocking us!
