This year our live entertainment is coming directly from the UK in the form of Bulsara and His Queenies! 

The really exciting part of this news is that they are going to perform Queen’s classic 1974 album 'Sheer Heart Attack' in its entirety! You can also expect a volley of classic hits and deep album cuts from this new and exciting act who seek 'homage’ rather than ‘pastiche’.

“We are all so thrilled and excited to be asked to perform at Freddie’s party in Montreux. Perfecting songs like ‘Bring Back That Leroy Brown’ requires an insane amount of practice and I hope that Queen’s fans will appreciate the level of detail we go to when they hear our set. We can’t wait!”

This remarkable 7-piece band are made up of youthful music graduates and an ex-physics teacher and they have their own identity; there are no wigs, no yellow jackets and no attempt to look like Queen. Instead, the band’s whole ethos is based upon performing the studio versions of the songs to an exceptional standard. 

The announcing of Bulsara and His Queenies actually has a lovely little story attached to it and comes full circle for lead vocalist Gareth Taylor. He not only attended the 2016 party, he hit the stage and won our Karaoke competition with a jaw-dropping version of ‘Somebody To Love’! It’s a thrill to have him back and proves that you just never know what can happen if you attend a Freddie party!
