World AIDS Day: Carnaby Street Collection

The Mercury Phoenix Trust collected an incredible £423.27 in just under three hours at our annual World AIDS Day street collection!

Myself and my husband Pete, plus a handful of volunteers were on Carnaby Street under the Bohemian Rhapsody lights on Saturday, we were also supported by Bulsara and His Queenies who were performing 'Sheer Heart Attack' in full and a selection of Queen's Greatest Hits in the Pop Up Shop.

The band were brilliant as always and had the crowd spread right across the street, which helped tremendously for our collection.

If you do head down to Carnaby Street to see the shop and the lights I have left a collection box and red ribbons instore, so you can still donate! It will be there until 6th Jan when the shop closes.

Best wishes to you all.

Maureen and her little team. XX
