Paul Rodgers & Friends - “Live At Montreux 1994”
Eagle Rock Entertainment are proud to announce the release on 12 September 2011 of the “Live At Montreux 1994” CD and DVD [Cat. No. EAGCD467 and EREDV897 respectively] from the incomparable Paul Rodgers and some of his friends from the rock fraternity. “Live At Montreux 1994” features the classic tracks “Wishing Well”, “Fire And Water”, “Muddy Water Blues”, “Feel Like Making Love”, “The Hunter”, “Can’t Get Enough” and - of course - “All Right Now”. The show boasted a great band line-up including Jason Bonham (Foreigner, Led Zeppelin) and Neal Schon (Journey) with special guests including Brian May (Queen), Steve Lukather (Toto) and a host of blues greats.
In 1993, Paul Rodgers released the acclaimed blues based album “Muddy Water Blues” (now available on Eagle Records) with contributions from many special guest artists with a shared love for the blues. In July 1994 the tour in support of this album rolled into Montreux. The regular tour band was joined through the evening by a number of special guests to create a typically unique Montreux festival performance including an amazing finale of “Hoochie Coochie Man” where all the guests join in. The line-up for the body of the show features Paul Rodgers, Neal Schon and Jason Bonham with Ian Hatton (guitar); John Smithson (bass) but is spiced up yet further with guest appearances from: Brian May, Steve Lukather, Eddie Kirkland, Sherman Robertson, Luther Allison, Robert Lucas and Kenny Neal.
