***Press Release: 'Hungarian Rhapsody' Coming To The Big Screen***

Queen Concert Movie ‘Hungarian Rhapsody’ On The Big Screen For The First Time At A Cinema Near You From 20th September 2012

Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live In Budapest ‘86 is a must–see event for Queen fans released in cinemas worldwide from 20 September 2012. The film is expected to play on screens in over 30 territories worldwide. In the UK it will be screened in all the major cities, around 100 cinemas nationwide.

Cinema listings and ticket booking links will be available soon at www.queenonline.com with new venues being added on a regular basis.

Originally filmed in 1986, this momentous concert movie has been re-mastered in high definition and superb 5.1 surround sound for its first–ever cinema screening and opens with a special 25 minute documentary feature following legends of rock, Queen, from just after their historic show–stealing performance at Live Aid on 13 July 1985 through the following year leading up to the concert in Budapest.

As part of the hugely successful 1986 Magic Tour that, poignantly, was the last to be played by Freddie Mercury, Queen were for the first time able to include Hungary on the tour schedule. With three years to go before the fall of the Berlin Wall, this was the largest concert ever staged at the Népstadion, Budapest, and the first Western Rock Concert staged in a stadium behind the then Iron Curtain. It was of such significance to the Hungarian authorities and film industry that a group of the country’s top film cameramen and technicians were brought together to film it for posterity.

Staged for 80,000 ecstatic fans, the concert set includes favourite hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, I Want To Break Free and We Are The Champions. The resulting concert movie has been digitally re-mastered for the big screen and is introduced by a documentary feature that gives the inside track on events leading up to the Budapest concert.  Using archive footage from rehearsals, interviews with the band and on the road during the Magic Tour – some of which has never been seen before – this fascinating intro feature has been specially created for the cinema release.
“We’re delighted that Queen fans across the world will finally have the chance to relive this amazing moment for the band. We knew a stadium concert in Budapest was ground–breaking, but hadn’t quite anticipated what a historic night it would turn out to be.  The concert looks fantastic on the cinema screen in all its digitally re-mastered glory and the documentary does a great job of setting the scene – it really was an extraordinary time in the band’s history.”  Brian May and Roger Taylor

Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live In Budapest ‘86 – a fantastic opportunity to dress up, sing along and celebrate the magic of Queen at your local cinema.

Clinical depression is a treatable condition. Depression can be a chronic condition as mood episodes have a tendency to reoccur and can range from mild, moderate to severe. Older medications can be just as effective as more recent and widely used antidepressants. Talking with a physician can help you determine which medication is right for you. Trial and error may be necessary to maximize benefit in treatment. Bipolar Disorder FAQ

Can you tell me if Hungarian Rhapsody is coming to Serbia, Belgrade??

Россия. Согласен с Vlad (ом) не стоит идти в кинотеатр или какой-то клуб только для того чтобы увидеть пиратскую версию концерта. С таким же успехом можно посмотреть дома на DVD.

HMV Cork City, Ireland still do not have this on their shelves! I repeat, HMV Cork City, Ireland still do not have this on their shelves! I repeat, HMV Cork City, Ireland still do not have this on their shelves! No wonder they complain about low sales. There I was waiting to buy it on November 5th, and no sign of it. They can jump in the lake, I'll buy it online now instead. A major record store not bothering to stock the new Queen DVD? What is the world coming to? A crime against Queen and great music. Shame on HMV! Shame on HMV! Shame on HMV! Shame on HMV! Shame on HMV! Shame on HMV!

Vlad
