Press Release: Queen + Adam Lambert to Play The 2013 IHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas!

i guarantee you guys one of the "special guests" is going to be a hologram of Freddie Mercury. You heard it here first, mark my words. :D

Ditto AmaDorm. Don't forget 'Fat Bottomed Girls' too... Love Adam's version... so dirty, just as it should be ;) (Queen+Adam Lambert - Fat Bottomed Girls in London Day 3 - http://youtu.be/veHzUYSzkao), and 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' - reminds me so much of young Elvis Presley (Queen+Adam Lambert - Crazy Little Thing Called Love in London Day 3- http://youtu.be/p34ri0TPQT0)

What about Metric! Or Dragonette! or Billy Talent!

Queen and Adam Lambert, a match made in heaven!

Yeah, I too was waiting on the website for tickets to go onsale. I didn't get any and would love to see them play. I couldn't see them when they toured with Paul Rodgers because they didn't come to Texas and I was in college and couldn't afford to travel out of state. Now I can, but they sold out so fast. I really hope they add some more shows!

I had my hand on computer at ten release time and still did not get tickets , Was willing to pay highest price tickets and still did not get them. I have waited forty years to see Queen as I live in USA and they do not tour here ever. I will still wait and keep trying.

It would be awesome if they did a worldwide tour... People from all over the world want to see them live!!!
I wish that SO HARD!

I hope some day the Queen frontman were Marc Martel.... a really great singer!!! incredibly near to Freddie....

Queen and Adam Lambert are pure magic! They are meant to be! Please don't stop collaborating! And please write some rock tunes together!

I hope they do more shows in the UK and release a live CD and DVD too, I reckon Queen + Adam Lambert at The O2 Arena or Hyde Park would go down well :) good luck with the festival in Vages guys and hopefully see you again soon! :)

I really DO think that Brian Roger and Adam, should do a UK tour of what they did at Hammersmith...I think that would put Queen back where they obviously want to be.
Just do the Hammersmith shows around the UK, and that will be the best Queen fans will get since Freddie's passing. Adam is no Freddie Mercury, but he is the best to front Queen.....Forget Paul Rogers, Jeff Scott Soto , Robbie Williams, and countless others who have tried to lend a hand..... just go with Adam Lambert and settle for that as he is a genuine good guy who knows the Queen machine.

I have been waiting for Queen+AL to come to the US and at long last it is happening! This is very exciting news!

To ENZ, I've seen many of Marc's performances, including the one u posted. I have watched the whole QExtravaganza. I agree he's very very good, the best one yet, but... that's about it... IMO, he's too much like Freddie, he even gestures like Freddie.
As for Lambert, he thrills. I find him fascinating and expressive - sonically, lyrically, visually. Certain songs like ABTDust, I much prefer Lambert's style. He also plays with the melody more (I know it's sacrilegious to Queen's purists) but I like to see that in an artist. I like to see how they interpret other artists' songs yet able to maintain their own identity. To me, that is the definition of a 'true artist' and Lambert managed to accomplish that. Also, fashion or 'the look', though some may not think much of, is another deal breaker. Lambert is very glamorous and a flamboyant peacock like Freddie and in this day and age, I honestly cannot think of another male artist who dares to wear what Lambert wears and totally 'own' the look. He dares to challenge the status quo in many ways and I applaud his bravery.
In short, I'm looking for something different and more unique, something that surprises and something that teases, a twist but tastefully done, and Lambert has all of that. I like the whole band's chemistry when he fronted them. I like their vibe. Many things seem wrong but somehow it 'felt' soooo right. I just cannot explain it.
I have nothing against Marc. It's apples and oranges in this case. It's just a personal preference.

Who next to front Queen... Angela Merkel?

Jivah Persian for Mercury

I wonder if you flip to know that Freddie is of Iranian descend. Yes, he is considered our national treasure. Farokh is his exact name. Jivah in Farsi means Mercury. It's a popular last name among Zoroastrian. My friend went to UCLA with his cousin, Sorosh Jivah (Jivah meaning Mercury in Persian).

So sad there is so much prejudice in this world. Judging someone on bases of what you read on rag magazines. This is something Freddie didn't appreciate and I'm sure he is rolling in his grave seeing his fans to be so bitter towards others. I hope you're not his fan and you are fans of others. Hopefully you being fans of others, your Idol will tell you or sing you songs to not judge others.

Look or sound?

The first time I saw Adam performing with Queen (Idol in 2009), it gave me chills! There's hardly a singer that can make me stop in my tracks and Adam did! The subsequent appearance at EMA sealed my faith. He doesn't sound anything like Freddie but something about him, some special chemistry makes him fit Queen so well. I think he is someone who's easily misunderstood but once you know him, there's no way of not liking him! He's just a truly sweet and humble and genuine guy.
Freddie's great but Freddie's gone and the music shouldn't die with him. I support Brian and Roger for continuing their legacy. I don't care what they do or who they do it with. I love them both and I respect their decisions. Out of so many artists that they have collaborated with, I love Adam the most. Adam's an interpretive genius! He's so unpredictable and exciting and dangerous and sexy and flamboyant and charismatic and has crazy vocals and pure raw talent! He has a lot of similar traits like Freddie. Apart from being able to sing well, his spirit truly resembles Freddie's and I LOVE it! You have found a rare GEM Brian n Roger! He is a keeper! I LOVE QUEENBERT!

AL - in a heartbeat! Marc - boring....
