"Queen + Adam Lambert is pure Majesty" - Opening Night Reviews

QUEEN STILL ROCKS!!! Just like their past, QUEEN continue to prove their SOUND and their STAGE SHOW is second to NONE!!!!!!! I have seen QUEEN in concert MANY times with Freddie in the past... he will never be replaced, but Brian & Roger got it right by adding Adam! Other than a couple sound miscues on this first night of their U.S. Tour, they simply ROCKED US in CHICAGO and it was AWESOME hearing early Queen songs that haven't been performed live in so many years... the whole evening was MAGICAL!!! THANK YOU, BRIAN & ROGER.... FREDDIE would have been PROUD tonight!!!

Venga a Argentina por favor!!!

Opening night show in Chicago was epic. Queen + Adam Lambert are a perfect fit. Amazing: vocals, chemistry, set list, show, costumes, set design. Best show I've seen & can't wait for more!

Seeing Queen+Adam in London twice I didn't think it could get any better but I was wrong. Chicago's opening night was magnificent and by far THE finest concert I've ever attended. What a beautiful collaboration they've created and how lucky are we to revel in their glory! Adam is so extraordinary and the perfect compliment to Queen's legendary rock and roll persona. Emotions ran the gamut from tears to sheer joy. From start to finish they had the crowd in the palms of their hands and they in our hearts forever.

I. AM. SPENT. ATTENDED CHICAGO SHOW. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW AMAZING IT WAS. ADAM'S VOICE IS EXQUISITE, LIKE NO OTHER IN THE WORLD! HE HAD ME CRYING TEARS OF JOY! THE SPECIAL EFFECTS, LIGHTING, LASERS, CONFETTI, GLITTER, STAGE, SCREENS WERE SPECTACULAR! I DIDN'T WANT SHOW TO END! I'M IN LOVE WITH QUEEN AND MOSTLY ADAM LAMBERT!

Yes, everything everyone else has said AND now maybe more people will realize the talent level Brian May possesses with those guitars and Roger Taylor possesses with that drum set! VIRTUOSO by any definition! Then there is the effortless vocal instrument that is Adam Lambert! And it's all tied together by Spike, Neil & Rufus. Package is complete! Was at the Chicago opener and will "review" the show again July 12 in Detroit!

Adam & Queen are rock royalty and proved it in Chicago for sure. Wasn't at this show but have read glorious reviews & hundreds of tweets from diehard and new Queen fans + Adam fans raving about Adam's performances + Brian/Rogers brilliant guitar & drummer performances. I also read comments on articles from first time Queen concert goers stating they are now believers in Adam.

Just like Kathleen Trahan (who commented further down) I told myself to not watch any videos until my first show in San Jose. Well...it didn't take me long to break down once I followed the enthusiastic tweets from Chicago and got to see a picture of the "Killer Queen". I didn't get much sleep after the opening night as I was glued to my computer screen watching the fantastic videos that popped up so quickly. Bombastic show!!! Queen is back with an enticing new flavor and I can not wait to see them live for the first time in San Jose. After growing up in Europe with Queen music this tour is more than I could have wished for considering that I am also very impressed by their new frontman. Thank you, Brian, Roger, and Adam, and rock on!!!

I was blown away by this show and so proud of Adam, Roger, Brian, Spike, Tiger and Neal. They were all stellar and this was an epic show. I will have to find some money to go to more shows. Adam sang the best I've heard him. His voice continues to mature and his stage performances just get better. Brian's guitar solos brought me to tears. Roger and Rufus' drum solo was fabulous but too short. Lambert is the best live performer I've ever witnessed. Thanks for the great time.

This may have been the best show I have ever seen. Adam did a great job fronting this band. The love he had for the songs came through his performance. Brian and Roger were great as usual. Chicago loves you. There was a time in my life that I didn't think I would ever see my favorite band live and this show made that dream come true. The only bad thing was I could have watched them play for another two hours. Thanks gentlemen. Freddie would have loved it.

I said I was not going to watch the videos and hold out until I saw them live in San Jose, but I could not wait and I am so glad I didn't...What a wonderful walk down memory lane with a great new twist......love it.
