REMINDER: Queen Day VI - Newcastle, June 29th 2013
Queen Day VI
Function Room, Centre of Life, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 4EP
29th June 2013- 3PM Till 1AM
First of all a big thank you to everyone who attended Queen Day V on the 2nd June this year. It was a fantastic day and we had over 140 people attending making this year the biggest Queen Day by far. The day started off with an hour of meeting and greeting some really nice people and then the Karaoke kicked into life with more singers than we could have anticipated. Peter Freestone also kindly offered to do a Q@A session which gave us all a great insight into what life was like working and living with Freddie. The traditional Queen quiz and raffle also took place with some fantastic prizes kindly donated by our generous friends and then into the early evening we went with a fantastic non Queen set by The Deputies which blew people away with the great rock and roll set that they do so well. Belladonic Haze then all showed us what a great tribute band they are by taking the Centre of Life by storm with a massive array of Queen songs which was enjoyed by all who sang and danced along. The night ended with the last few hours of a Queen disco where everyone got up and had a fantastic time. Many words could have described Queen Day V but I think that the one that rings true with me is PERFECT!
Queen Day VI is now confirmed for Saturday 29th June 2013. We would like to invite you all to come along and enjoy what is becoming a date in most Queen fans calenders. Tickets have been confirmed again at £10.00 a ticket which has stayed the same for the last 6 years and T-shirt prices will be announced later in the year.
