OUT TODAY! Queen Icon - New North American Limited Edition Release

Certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest selling British band of all time, Queen is the very definition of ICON. They are one of the most bought, most played, and most downloaded acts in every media.

This new compilation draws from every era of their incomparable career - from the early hard rock of 'Stone Cold Crazy' and 'Tie Your Mother Down' through worldwide #1 hits such as 'We Will Rock You,' 'We Are The Champions,' and 'Another One Bites The Dust' and on to the unduplicatable 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' the 4-on-the-floor rocker 'I'm In Love With My Car' and the anthemic 'I Want It All' and the inspirational 'The Show Must Go On.' A must for every Queen collector's collection.

OUT TODAY! Queen Icon - New North American Limited Edition Release

Clerto Queen

We want Greatest Video Hits 3.
It's so obvious!!!

Gisabun

Zzzzz. Icon. Another useless series just to milk a bit more money.

IncreasinglyDisillusionedWithQueenProductions

"Limited Edition" - presumably that means that it has been put out to be bought by people of limited intelligence? Get real Queen Productions, describing this as "A must for every Queen collector's collection" is simply ridiculous. There is nothing here to excite the millions of Queen fans who've been lining your pockets for over 40 years. Give us something new please!!!

I Con

AMEN Alser. A true story. I hope we will be heard.

Alser

It's been many months since I even checked the Queen website because I have become so disillusioned by the constant churning out of product that is clearly aimed at making money only and not as a way of enhancing the Queen catalog. I checked back today in the hope that something had changed but no, just news about the Queen Extravaganza (sorry I'm not in the slightest bit interested, I expect a bands website to be dedicated to the band and the band only, not to be constantly giving information about a tribute act. I have no problem with tribute acts at all but they should have their own site and only a link from the official site. No more! The same with the WWRY Musical!) No news of impending releases of either live show that have not yet been released or of rare recordings (complete or not). All I see is yet another cheap compilation aimed at making a quick buck.
The one thing that has changed is that normally there would be a few dissenting voices crying out at the disrespect shown to true fans of Queen. This time however the voices are almost unanimous in their cry for something better. It really is time for QPL, Brian Roger and Jim to realise that loyalty can only be pushed so far. Again I say that it is not too late . Please listen to your fans. Look at the examples given by Pink Floyd, The Beatles and David Bowie in the care they have taken with their catalog and how they have continuously released product of quality that all fans are only too happy to pay for, much in the same way that The Freddie Mercury Solo Collection box set was a perfect product and well work the expense. Please read the comments of your fans and take them on board. The Queen legacy deserves so much more.

Robert

I want GVH3

Robert Bennett

Oh dear
I have said a lot of times on this very comments board, that keep re releasing the same old stuff is going to wind the true fans such as myself right up. I keep hearing Queen tracks on a lot of adverts selling various items which I think in itself is destroying Queen music. But this nonsense of keep re releasing the same old material is a Scandal!!
For gods sake Roger make haste with this new album.

Pablo_uru

What a pity!!! This garbage it's only a Limited Edition Release. I won't be able to buy it, ha, ha...

dave76 "The Show Must Go On DEMO" not too differs -- There simply there is no polyphonic chorus
"I Guess We're Falling Out" on the present a hit

Matt Day

It's Modern Times Rock'n'Roll everyone - Queen are not the only band reissuing and re-releasing stuff. If the band members do have a say then John Deacon will too, not just Brian and Roger.
Some Day One Day we will get the 70s live stuff, GVH 3, maybe even the fabled box set of rarities.... but that's all Long Away rather than In Only Seven Days. Christmas is coming soon so maybe then?
These hits cd's are not aimed at true fans but casual music buyers. You have a choice to buy or not (save your money!)
As for Record Store Day, Qu££n should have released a special version of The Profits Song.

dave76

There is a demo of "the show must go on"? i didn't know that and i haven't find it anywhere. I am still in the middle of creating an anthology boxset of my own so your ideas are welcome.

Leroy Brown

Looks awesome, just ordered it on Amazon. Thanks QPL for another wonderful addition to the collection. Great track selection. Ace!
