Thank You from The Mercury Phoenix Trust

Thank You. Simple words, but we really do mean them.

Freddie For A Day launched four years ago as a major Mercury Phoenix Trust initiative. It helped us re-engage with the global Queen family of fans, followers and partners (see list below) in our quest to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS, the disease that robbed us of Freddie.

The Mercury Phoenix Trust is well known for it's work within the Queen community, but with YOUR help and enthusiasm in embracing our annual celebrations around Freddie's birthday (and beyond!) the MPT now has a hugely expanded presence in the public consciousness, and that is down to YOU and your fabulous support.

What you really need to understand is no matter what you did this year or how much you raised, by donning that moustache, you have made a real difference to those who need it.

The fight, of course goes on, as does Freddie's legacy, however, be sure, he will be beaming with pride with what YOU, the fans, have achieved this year.

The final figure raised for Freddie For A Day 2013 to date is £135,215.
