Flash Gordon (Original Soundtrack)
Another innovation for Queen, Flash Gordon was the first film soundtrack ever recorded by a single rock group. Containing the top ten hit ‘Flash’ it mainly comprises of instrumentals interspersed with film dialogue making it more of a story album. One highlight was Brian’s arrangement of ‘The Wedding March’ that echoed his arrangement of ‘God Save The Queen’ on A Night at The Opera.
