Q Magazine - BM Interview, Feb 2008

Brian has been interviewed by Q Magazine. The interview is expected to appear in the issue out 1 February, which will probably be available mid-to-late January 2008.

The Great British Music issue will celebrate 50 years of British rock and pop – decade by decade, from the ’50s to the ’00s. For each decade, there will be a 4-page Q&A interviews, including centrepiece, with a band or artist who came to prominence during that era, such as Sir Cliff Richard, Elvis Costello, the Prodigy (among others), plus Brian May.

Q consider Queen one the most significant acts of the past 40 years, and that it would be odd to do a British-themed iissue without them.

The interview with Brian is expected to cover both Queen and Brian’s whole career, particularly the ’70, when the band first became such a creative force, though, as we know, they later scaled great heights in successive decades.
