Peter Freestone was a close friend of Freddie Mercury and his personal assistant; a role he continued daily for several years until the Queen singer's untimely death in 1991.

The photos portrayed in the Calendar were taken by Queen fans, who also had the pleasure of meeting Peter Freestone in Montreux, Switzerland. This meeting resulted in the creation of this Calendar, which depicts the different places in Montreux associated with Queen, as well as some information on each picture and anecdotes relating to Queen.
