Queen II

Queen II
Released in March 1974, the album had “black” and “white” sides as opposed to A & B. The first single from the album was Seven Seas Of Rhye, which entered at number 10, and the album climbed to number 5. Freddie’s love of art surfaced on one track – The Fairy Fellers Masterstroke was inspired by a painting of the same name by Richard Dadd, which can now be seen in the Tate Gallery in London.
