Today marks 38 years of 'It’s a Hard Life'! 

Track 3 on the 1984 album 'The Works', the track was written by Freddie and was the third single to be taken from the LP and reached No.6 in the UK Charts.

The operatic and period-style video was that of Freddie's 'Giant Prawn' outfit and Brian May's skull guitar and can be viewed here; however, to celebrate, check out this live performance of the song taken from the Rock In Rio show in Brazil in 1985.
